Essiac Blend - Botanical Tea Bags

Essiac Tea is a blend of four traditional herbs (burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm bark, rhubarb root) that has been used to promote overall health. These potent herbs have an earthy taste and are used to make teas and tinctures. Essiac tea can be traced back to the Ojibwa tribe of Canada, but was popularized and brought into homes by a nurse named Rene Caisse in the 1920s. 

This famous herbal blend has high flavonoid and polyphenol content; these antioxidants may help the body to defend itself from oxidative stressors. While Essiac is often purported as a health tonic for specific conditions, we suggest using this classic tea for overall wellness support.
